Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Events

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is currently considering the ways in which it can transform Adult Mental Health Services for the future in Gwent. Part of this involves looking at the site location for a new centre to provide its specialist inpatient services to adults.

The Mental Health Division has looked at the site options with a group of clinicians and other experts and produced our recommendations, what we would like to do now is to listen to your views to share your opinions on the options being considered for site locations.

If you’d like to share your views we are holding two public workshops:

**Monday 19th September 2022 – 11:00 am to 1:30pm– at Olive Tree Cwmbran- Edlogan Way, Cwmbran NP44 2JJ - Postponed

Wednesday 28th September 2022 – 10:30 am to 1:00pm – via Microsoft Teams (link to join meeting)

The session will last two and a half hours, including breaks for refreshments, we will start with a presentation of the options followed by facilitated discussions, after which you will have the opportunity to participate in group feedback of your views.

If you are interested you will be provided with information on the options in advance, or if you would like to give a view, but cannot attend the events, let us know.

Please let us know where and when you’d like to attend the events. You can access our form by following this link or scanning the QR code below from any smart phone or device that is connected to the internet.

**Following the sad news about the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the workshop scheduled for Monday 19th September has been postponed. A revised date will be issued as soon as possible.
