Road Closure Notice

A465 weekend road closure between Brynmawr & Gilwern: 20 - 23 November 2020

The weekend road closure is required for extensive excavation work in the Blackrock area in preparation for bridge construction to protect the cave network, drainage works, removal of temporary barriers, installation of sign bases, pot hole repairs, removal of temporary white lines and laying of final wearing course tarmac in areas throughout the scheme. Other works will be undertaken throughout the project to maximise the use of the road closure.

Costain will be providing a minibus service to replace the Stagecoach Service 3 on Saturday. The minibus timetable will be operating as normal, however there will be significantly reduced seating capacity. In line with Welsh Government guidance it is advised that a suitable face covering should be worn. This will be a condition of travel on the minibus.
