Eating Disorder Service

The information resources and links included on this site offer an opportunity to raise awareness and increase understanding of eating disorders and treatment options.  
 
The media exposure of eating disorders means that most people are familiar with the names of some of the disorders Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder.  Eating disorders can affect males and females; children, adolescents, adults and older adults.  The majority of eating disorders begin in adolescents with presentations ranging from mild and short lived to a severe and high risk.  Early identification and treatment is key and has a positive impact on outcomes.
