Bladder and Bowel Service

Incontinence is a common problem for all ages, and whenever it occurs it can be distressing and embarrassing, greatly undermining quality of life, impinging on the independence and dignity of the individual. The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board continence service aims to assist and support those who suffer the indignity and embarrassment of incontinence. In order to meet these aims the Bladder and Bowel service employs a team of Nurses who are skilled Specialists in this area and can offer conservative treatments, advice and support for individuals experiencing bladder and/or bowel symptoms.  This service is provided for adults and children, both male and female in line with the Bladder and Bowel Service Policy and Referral Criteria.
